A shock is on the cards

Today’s album was “The IT Girl” by Sleeper.

This is a rare case where the band doesn’t have a dedicated web site. Probably due to them breaking up way before the onset of the internet and not having a strong enough back catalogue/following to keep the desire going.

My favourite track is “Sale of the Century”. I think it epitomises that Indie guitar sound of this era; nothing too complicated but just basic repeating chords.

Another short post tonight as I’m watching Spain v Chile where Spain as defending champions could be going out of the competition. A shock is on the cards.
